Ingredients

water

pound
green beans

Roma tomatoes

teaspoon
olive oil, optional

teaspoon
Italian Seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring water to a rolling boil in a large pot.
While the water comes to a boil, cut or snap the ends off of the green beans and add to the pot.
Boil green beans for 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
While green beans are boiling, chop Roma tomatoes
Remove green beans from pot to serving dish.
Stir in chopped tomatoes
Toss green beans and chopped tomatoes with olive oil, if desired, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
Notes
Note: Total time assumes that tomato preparation occurs while green beans are cooking.
