80grams70% dark chocolateAny type of chocolate will work. Use chocolate with 70% or more cocoa for a dark chocolate version.
½teaspoonvegetable oil (optional)Coconut oil, avocado oil, or any neutral vegetable oil can be used to thin the melted chocolate.
1Tablespoonfinely chopped almonds (Optional)use mini food processor to finely chop
Instructions
Place chopped chocolate and oil, if using, in a glass bowl and melt in the microwave until it's spoonable. Use 30-second intervals, stirring every time. It usually takes about 90 seconds.
Add blueberries to the warm chocolate and gently stir until they are completely coated with chocolate. Add them all at once or in batches if desired.
Lift out 4-6 chocolate dipped blueberries with a slotted spoon and drop them in small clumps on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Repeat until all blueberries are used. This recipe makes about 16 clusters. You may end up with less! The yield depends entirely on the size of the blueberries and how thickly the blueberries are coated with chocolate. If you have extra chocolate, drizzle it over the top!
Optional Step. Sprinkle finely chopped almonds on top of the chocolate coating.
Place chocolate covered blueberry clusters in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.
Remove from refrigerator when ready to enjoy!

Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature. How to Freeze Chocolate Covered Blueberries:Chocolate covered blueberries freeze well. Arrange clusters or individual berries on a parchment-lined baking sheet, freeze for 1 hour until solid, then store in a freezer-safe bag or container. Let thaw for about 15 minutes before enjoying.
